I named him that because the bear really is a lot like Adam: cute, fuzzy, and not so much with the brain cells. Still... it's kinda like he didn't leave (I never got to see him except at school). Or he was never here. What do you call a chemistry lab that is impossible to do? Why, the labe from hell, of course! Needless to say I'm having a bit of trouble completing this assignment. The first time my group attempted it, we ended up with a 98% error. How? Not a single bloody clue. The second? The chemical inside, Potassium Chlorate as it may be, boiled up on *one* side (naturally the side we can't see) and dripped onto our bunsen burner. That was interesting, let me assure you. That's our excuse for the failure of the third lab, when the flame would suddenly disappear. Why me? Current mood:  exhausted.Current music: silence, blissful silence. ABC Family is finally showing "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"!!! Yea!!! Current mood: cheerful.Current music: DUH, girls just wanna have fun!. Does every heartbreak hurt this bad? I don't know yet, honestly, it's my first broken heart. The guy I'm referring to supposedly liked me back, for about five months actually, and we were an unofficial couple. Then he came back from break, having made the decision that he liked someone else. A friend. He didn't even bother to tell me; Katsie just took pity on me and filled me in. I, who should have been the first to know, was the last to find out. People I don't know that well (and neither does he) knew before me. I asked him about it in a note (I'm a coward and know it), but I never got a reply. To any of the multiple notes I'd written. He got over Mary-Owen pretty quickly, and nothing happened between them (she likes someone else). Then he moved on to Kristen. Kristen liked him back, unfortunately. I was the lucky witness to more PDA than I really want to remember. At one point, during an extra-credit movie for history, he sat next to me and got all *couple-ly* again. Needless to say, I didn't mind. But my friends, all of them, warned me not to get involved again, even the ones who didn't know I cried at night. So I didn't. He was starting to live up to the request that we stay friends (though honestly, it would be the first time we were "friends"). Two days ago, a friend (she happens to be his confidante) comes up to me, and remarks, "Well, I finally know who Adam asked to prom-Katie Thomison." I didn't know he asked anyone to prom, but as I mentioned it, I found out that (once again) I was the only one. Why is that? Now, Katie Thomason is a sweetie; I really didn't mind that she was his prom date. Except now, she doesn't feel the need to talk to me anymore. She's got what she wanted: a date to prom. And Adam? He decided to tell me that after the extra-credit movie, he realized he still liked me, but he didn't do anything because I seemed so distant. He means well (I suppose), but keeps saying I should have come to him before believing my friends. Does this happen to everyone? Current mood:  lonely.Current music: anything sad.... |
